A murder mystery takes place in Destin and Perdido Key, Florida. Three real estate friends live and work through the horror of losing two other friends to murder. There is greed involved, lust, love and danger. Beautiful Honey Jennings is murdered while the three friends are out of town celebrating the purchase of a beach house in Mexico Beach. The real estate office swarms with detectives. Honey was having an affair with a rich attorney, Vick Napoli from New Orleans.He is a suspect and one of the major investors in Gulf Wind Real Estate properties.

When the team goes out of town to sell a condo project in Perdido Key, Charlie Davis is missing on the day of the sale. Two days later they find him under a ledge. Drowned in the condo pool. More uniforms decend on the real estate company. In between the chaos the three friends find time for romance and some fun at their new beach house.

Vick Napoli is accused of murdering Honey Jennings and the trial is held in DeFuniak Springs, the north end of the county. Ann sneaks up to view the proceedings.
