(About the Author) Much like the characters in her Madge Franklin series, author Kate McLaughlin and her husband of sixty years spent sixteen years on the road as full-time RVers. "During our years of travel, we worked with the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife, as well as with an organization that allowed us to go around the country doing service projects and disaster rebuilds. Much of what I write is based on personal experience."
