Misawa, Marcia: - Marcia Misawa was born in Brazil as part of the third generation of Japanese immigrants and grew up in a Japanese rural community, surrounded by their culture: traditional food, festivities, table tennis, karaoke, and origami! Her grandmother taught her origami and was also her first spiritual guide. Marcia now lives in the US with her husband and two sons, illustrating and making books.
