During her career at National Geographic, she created hundreds of new products and franchises, including the New York Times bestselling National Geographic Kids Almanac and Weird but True!, a 30-book series that has collectively sold over 2.1M copies; and the re-creation and reintroduction of National Geographic Kids magazine, now ranked as the #1 kids' magazine. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her two children, dog, cat and bearded dragon.
