One incident I shall never forget. My husband and I were having an argument that turned into a fight. What was the argument about? I do not remember, but I distinctly remember him pinning me down on the sofa and hitting me. He hit me with his fist, over and over. He kept hitting me so hard it was as if he had put all his anger that was inside of him on me with every blow. Suddenly there was no more fight nor strength left in me. I could not even move. I remember thinking this is it, I gave up. I lay there as he continued to hit me. I became unconscious, and for hours, I laid there on the sofa. This man is a monster and... and... woe is me; my husband has PTSD. I need a plan; I need a way out!
