The Oosik; from ancient walrus penis bone to revered Inuit relic, which becomes an object of greed and theft while inspiring ingenuity and poetry, as narrated by the archeologist, from JARO (Journal of American Rare Objects), who is researching the adventurous travelogue of the Oosik through human acts of escapism and survival.

During the early years of the Oosik, after being torn-off from the walrus carcass, it's used as a bludgeoning tool by Inuit tribes inhabiting the estuary shoreline feeding the Bering Sea, its colorful and polished finish is skillfully carved and notched by artisans to be transformed into a ceremonial relic, then with the arrival and settlement of Presbyterians; the Oosik is stolen and woven into history during the making of a national monument, as a centerpiece in a theatrical drama, as a bargaining piece to the Navajo tribe and future Code Talkers, as a fake apostle bone relic by an amoral priest, and while the odyssey continues to becoming a present day trophy to the French Ambassador in Venezuela, a group of friends on an around the world vacation are discovering the significance of bone relics to Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Christians and Wiccans alike, and consequently finesse themselves into the fortuitous position of capturing the Oosik.
