The Legend of Running Wolf ​ is the story of one of the many Comanche camps, the Buffalo Eaters, led by their chief Two Bears. The novel opens with the Buffalo Eaters attacking a Crow village and capturing a young male child. The story follows the lives of Two Bears, old Crooked Nose, the Medicine Man, and Running Wolf, the adopted son of the chief. Readers will be transported to a different time in our history and experience what life was like as one of the true People.
