Cummins, Val: - Val Cummins has over twenty years' experience working in the field of coastal governance, ocean innovation and sustainability. She is currently a company director for Simply Blue Energy, focused on offshore wind-energy development. Prior to this she was a senior lecturer and principal investigator in UCC, where she led the development of marine research capacity in Ringaskiddy, County Cork. She has contributed to the UN World Ocean Assessment and served as co-chair of Future Earth Coasts for six years.
