Ruford is a four-month-old eagle who lives in Decorah, Iowa. His parents have decided he is ready to take his first solo flight!

While soaring over the bluffs and farmland, Ruford's curiosity draws him to North Star Farm. He meets all kinds of new friends before returning home to share his journey with Mama and Papa Eagle.
