Poets of Queens is publishing its second anthology with an official release date of July 14, 2024. The themes include parenting, coming of age in Queens, the layered histories or generational understanding of Queens, existentialism, nature/climate, and the pandemic.


Contributors include Pichchenda Bao, Jared Beloff, Francisco Delgado, Trace Howard DePass, Sherese Francis, DeeAnne P. Gorman, Jared Harél, Emily Hockaday, Paolo Javier, Robert

Kaplan, Linda Kleinbub, Ananda Lima, Maria Lisella, Erika Meitner, Vijay R. Nathan, Richard Jeffrey Newman, Robert Ostrom, McCaela Prentice, Hila Ratzabi, Anda Totoreanu, Bruce E.

Whitacre, and Micah Zevin.

Jared Beloff is the author of Who Will Cradle Your Head (ELJ Editions, 2023) and the editor of the MCU poetry anthology, Marvelous Verses (Daily Drunk, 2021). His work can be found at

AGNI, Baltimore Review, Image Journal, River Mouth Review and elsewhere. He is a Poetry Editor at The Weight Journal and Managing Editor of Porcupine Literary. You can find him on his website www.jaredbeloff.com. He is a teacher who lives in Forest Hills with his wife and two daughters.


Olena Jennings is the author of the poetry collection The Age of Secrets (Lost Horse Press, 2022) and the novel Temporary Shelter (Cervena Barva Press, 2021). She is a translator of

collections by Ukrainian poets, Kateryna Kalytko, together with Oksana Lutsyshyna, Iryna Shuvalova, together with the author, and Vasyl Makhno. Her translation, together with the

author, of Yuliya Musakovska's The God of Freedom was released in May 2024 from Arrowsmith Press. Her textile art has been shown at Bliss on Bliss Art Projects, with Long Island

City Artists Inc., and at the New York City Poetry Festival. She founded and curates the Poets of Queens reading series and press.
