Noutatea prezentei editii este capitolul Retetar taranesc in vase din lut. Acesta ofera exemple de gastronomie traditionala - retete culese in cercetarile de teren - pentru care sunt folosite diferite tipuri de vase din lut, demonstrand utilitatea ceramicii si relatia stransa intre forma si destinatia vasului din lut. This work is a synthesis of field research and of the inestimable collections of the National Romanian Peasant Museum, published in the albums Wedding Jugs, Tiles, Traditional Pottery, Clay Toys. What is new in the present edition is the chapter Peasant Recipes in the Clay Cookware. The chapter gives examples of traditional foods - recipes collected during the field research work - for which various types of clay vessels are used, showing the usefulness of pottery and the close relationship between the form and the purpose of the clay vessel.
