One of the first things I found out when I became a born-again Christian is that God has a unique plan and purpose for each of us. I thought that was the most amazing thing! When God thought about me, Sabrina, he created me to do this certain thing. As I grew in the things of God, there were times I got distracted from that truth. Throughout my life, I was distracted by what others wanted or expected of me. Through desiring acceptance of others, I did not realize I was conforming to what others wanted me to be or expected me to be, rather than being who God called me to be. There is a pressure in this world to become what the world and its ideas deem as "acceptable." Even if you are successful and able to achieve it, you may realize something is still missing.

One thing God showed me is if I can discover what it is that he has created me to do and actually do it, I would be in my happy place. Why? Because I am doing what my Creator, the Creator of this world, actually designed me to do. What I did not realize initially is that on this journey, I would encounter many hills and valleys, and it was only through my relationship with God himself that I would be able to discern rightly how to navigate.

What is great about discovering purpose is you will find that it is wrapped in your passions and desires that God has already placed inside your heart! How exciting is that? You will find your life full of adventure and newness as you follow God in discovering and being in his perfect will for your life.
