June Foster is an author and deckhand in the yachting industry. In 2018, she published The Girl and the Golden Leaf, a suspense novel that touches upon poverty and human trafficking and has been optioned for a film production. June is currently writing a short-story collection with a writer from Garissa, Kenya, and has completed two children's illustration books with Rob Scheer, Founder of Comfort Cases. Rob Scheer is the CEO of Comfort Cases and the author of A Forever Family: Fostering Change One Child at a Time. Growing up in foster care, Rob remembered feeling disposable as a child carrying a trash bag to his foster home. In 2013, the Scheer family set out on a mission to eliminate the use of trash bags and provide children entering the foster system with brand new essential and comfort items.
