As a person in long-term recovery with food, severe obesity, substances, and co-dependency, she is a fierce advocate for ending the stigma of addiction, obesity, and mental health disorders by providing science-based evidence of their direct link to ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) that result in survivors developing complex PTSD. She lives in Southern California with her partner.
