THE CASE OF THE MISSING COMIC STRIP Some years ago I ran across a one-panel comic in a magazine (The New Yorker?). I cut it out and saved it. But now I can't locate it. It was especially appropriate as a preface to this story. The drawing was of a group of editors seated around a conference table at a publishing company.
