Following her MA (Classical Civilisation) and BA (Hons) History of Art, Architecture and Design, she taught history of art at Kingston University, London. Her published works include Michelangelo; Leonardo da Vinci; Rembrandt; Origins of Modern Art; 50 Art Movements You Should Know; William Morris: Artist, Craftsman, Pioneer; Alphonse Mucha: Masterworks; Van Gogh: His Life in Letters and Art; and Pablo Picasso.
