Bella the Sea Turtle is a story written and illustrated by 1st-grade students at Dunn Elementary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Bella is a mama turtle, looking for a place to lay her eggs. She is distressed to see all of the plastic garbage that has washed ashore. She must find a way to clean up the beach before her baby turtles hatch and return to the sea.
