Love does not impose itself. God, Who is Love, does not want to break into the sanctuary of a human heart. Respecting the freedom that He Himself has given us, God stands at the doors of our hearts as if He were a beggar and He knocks and waits for us to open up.(1)

Mr. Biela reflects on the profound truths that are contained in the well known yet often overlooked passage from the Book of Revelation: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, (then) I will enter his house and dine with him, and he with me" (3:20).
