Newberger Speregen, Devra: - Devra Newberger Speregen began writing children's books when she worked as a magazine and book editor at Scholastic, Inc., and later, Disney Press and Parachute Press. She has published nearly 200 books since then--including fiction, non-fiction, biographies, puzzles and activities, movie and television tie-ins, and board and novelty books. Most notable are her popular chapter book series--Full House Stephanie, Miss O & Friends, and First Puppy--and her biographies of Albert Einstein, Adam Sandler, and Macaulay Culkin, along with her recently published licensed DIY titles--My Little Pony Get Ponified Hair, Transformers' Give Your Old Stuff the Reboot, and MLP Bracelets for Besties--and her non-fiction, leveled readers--Eye Doctor On Call, Total Recall, and Weird & Wacky Sports. Devra currently lives in Long Beach, New York.
