Well, I gotta say I’m a bit disappointed Nadia hasn’t spoken a word on romanian in this whole book, considering it was mentioned she’s fluent in the language:(( Anyways, to start things of on a positive note, everything Elsie Silver writes, I will eat up. She never fails to make me love her books. I felt the tension and chemistry between Nadia and Griffin from the start, their connection ran so deep and I loved how they grew, both separately and together. Although I have to say I was a bit thrown off by such a big age gap, but that hasn’t stopped me from loving them and enjoying this book. I also loved the tid bits we got of the other characters and their lives������. I always love that in a series.

Don’t you just love that feeling when you turn the last page of a book you love with a smile on your face? That’s how I know the book was great. And this book is one of those. I honestly didn’t think I could love Stefan so much, but throw in a tragic past and I’m sold. I’m a goner for this man. The class, the power he exhuades, the love he shows, everything about him made me love him. And if that’s not enough, he’s from Romanian??? What!? Mira is such a great FMC herself. I literally loved everything about her. Her sassy-ness, her shyness, her intelligence. Everything! Both characters were so beautifully built and developed throughout this book. And the whole story was nothing short of amazing. But it was too short��. I want more!!

— 4.5/5⭐️ This is what I was waiting for. I’ve been excited about Cole and Violet’s story since I read about them in the chestnut springs series. So this was a highly anticipated read for me and IT. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. I loved Violet’s character, something about her being both shy and bold was so interesting to read about. I also loved how hard-working and determined she was. It was so good to see Cole— who is not who I thought he was— become the man he truly is and slowly letting go of the past and embracing himself with all his flaws and perfections. I honestly thought they’re going to be a picture perfect couple that just met randomly and fell in love, but they are much more that that which was definitely a pleasant surprise.

This was such a nice and light read. Finished the book in less than 24 hours. Love the horse theme so much ! Billie’s sassy attitude is something I didn’t know I needed. She’s such a great FMC, loved how hard-working she was and her connection with the horses, especially DD. She was the perfect pair for Vaughn honestly. They completed each other so good. Although I felt like it all moved a bit too fast, but despite that there was not a cringe part in this book which I liked.
