Mary Valentino is a professional cookie baker and decorator who began her baking and decorating journey eight years ago as a creative outlet. As she began posting her creations on Facebook, she started to get orders for custom cookies--and more orders, and more orders. She soon realized that her expertly decorated cookies were a hit and, with her husband, decided to make cookie baking and decorating a full-time endeavor.

The business, Emma's Sweets (named after her daughter) includes an online retail site selling an exclusive line of cookie cutters, other cookie-making supplies, and her own recipes. Mary won an episode of the Food Network's "Christmas Cookie Challenge," and she teaches in-person and online workshops. She lives in Ontario, Canada.
