This title was originally published as two volumes in very expensive hardback by an academic press in 2014. As a result, a unique and important historical work has until now been largely inaccessible, and that is something we hope to remedy by combining both volumes into an affordable paperback.
We think that this has very good potential for course adoption. We expect the book to be widely covered by the left press, and will do direct outreach to the Alliance of Radical Booksellers and similar stores. As a unique contribution to Russian history, this should also find a home in larger stores with social science sections.
