The 3rd edition of the Annotated Checklist of the Birds of Kentucky updates the status and abundance of 390 species that have been suitably documented to have occurred in Kentucky. The 3rd edition has been expanded to include more detailed lists of county distribution of many less common species. Included in species descriptions are brief summaries of status, distribution seasonal occurrence, and abundance.
