No Homeless Problem is a collection of poems that invites the reader to understand the issues surrounding homelessness including the spiral into homelessness as well as actually living on the street. Northern Irish writer Séamus Fox is no stranger to homelessness. Having battled alcoholism and experienced homelessness himself, he is able to articulate the reality of the situation based on the experiences of 44 individuals.

Having dealt with the reality of homeless and the subsequently becoming sober, Séamus found Emmaus. Emmaus is a charity that helps homeless people find meaningful work and a stable home in order to help them to regain their lives. Emmaus helped Séamus change his life for the better. He comments, "I wrote this book because I want people who have never been homeless or who have never known homeless people to search in their souls for shreds of compassion."
